Are you a KPU student or a KSA club representative? KPU Student Services can help you book the space you need for your on-campus events!
Whether you are planning a small club meeting in Surrey or an academic conference in Richmond, you will need to fill in an online application for your student event. Student Services requires a minimum of 4 weeks to process your requests, so please remember to plan ahead! It is also important to include as much information as you can about what you are planning. Sometimes Student Services will have questions about your application. Don't forget to check your email!
If you are a part of an external group that wants to host a student event on campus, you may be charged for your space bookings by the University. All external space booking requests are handled by Facilities Services. Please visit the KPU Facilities Services website for more information.
The KSA GrassRoots Lounge at the Surrey Campus can also be booked for special events. The GrassRoots Lounge has a small stage and a restaurant liquor licence. If you are interested in hosting an event at the GrassRoots, please contact Adam Rhode, the GrassRoots Cafe Manager, at 604.599.2302 at least 4 weeks before your event!
The newly-renovated KSA Birch Space at the Surrey Campus has a large multipurpose room (Birch 250 — maximum 48 people) and a small meeting room (Birch 260 — maximum 16 people) that can be booked for meetings and events. The rooms are usually unlocked during the day and are free to use during the open timeslots on the calendar. Please contact the KSA Events Coordinator at email@example.com to request a booking!
