Student Health Improvement Program
THE KSA EXTENDED HEALTH AND DENTAL BENEFITS PLAN:
Here are just a few items you should know about this great plan:
*This Extended Health and Dental Plan is 100% yours and completely private and confidential.*It only costs $179/year. That’s only $0.49/day!*If you have an existing plan (either through your parents or your employer) you can combine it with the KSA Extended Health and Dental Plan for even greater coverage.For example, if your existing dental coverage only covers 50% of the cost, the Extended Health and Dental Plan provided by the KSA can cover the rest.*If you are a smoker looking to quit you are now covered to receive quit smoking products, both prescription and over the counter – most medical plans do not cover this! For more info…*Birth Control is covered.*If you leave the province/country you are still covered.*Most Student Health Improvement Program (SHIP) events and activities (example: yoga) have a special Extended Health and Dental Plan discount.
So, before you opt out, think about how much you can save and benefit from the KSA Extended Health and Dental Plan.

THE FOOD CO-OP:
The food co-op is a program designed to aid Kwantlen students, staff and faculty secure regular, healthy meals. In the past, the food co-op has been an open source to everyone, however, SHIP and Kwantlen Polytechnic University is currently undertaking a redevelopment of the program to better suit our campuses.
Currently, we have stopped the program until the re-launching of the food co-op. We apologize if this is an inconvenience to you, but we promise to improve upon this service.
