Welcome to the GrassRoots!
The GrassRoots Cafe and Lounge is the heart of the KSA, as KPU’s only student-owned and operated lounge. We can be found in the Cedar Building at KPU Surrey!
- We serve alcoholic beverages and KPU brewed beer on tap, delicious food, snacks, coffee drinks and healthy alternative options such as vegan and gluten-free meals.
- We host live events including Open Mics, movie marathons, poetry slams and comedy shows.
- We offer music, movies, power outlets and couches. This is the perfect space to study, meet with friends and colleagues or just hang out.
- We provide catering services for any of your on-campus needs.
As a member of the KSA, students even receive a 5% discount on all non-alcoholic purchases. This dynamic space will add to your university and student experience, truly making it for the students and for the students!
